Objective: 

Analytical Chemistry

1. To determine the flash point and fire point of a given oil by Pensky-Martin apparatus.

2. To determine the cloud point and pour point of a given lubricating oil.

3. To determine the viscosity of a given sample of a lubricating oil using Redwood viscometer.

 

Organic Chemistry:

Qualitative Analysis

Identification of an organic compound through the functional group analysis, determination of melting point and preparation of suitable derivatives.
